Mini Superdrug Haul, MUA & Collection.

A little mini haul for you beauties,
I went to check out what was new from the bargain beauty ranges at Superdrug and came across these two products I thought I'd try. The first is the MUA Pro-Base Conceal & Brighten Kit, this mini palette contain 2 concealers 1 light, 1 darker and 1 Cream Highlighter. The concealers are great colours to mask both imperfections and under eye darkness, they don't cake up and are really bendable. I wouldn't recommend it for people who needs really heavy coverage as it gives a medium amount but is buildable. The highlighter cream gives a lovely rosey illuminising shimmer which is great for highlighting cheekbones. For only £3.50 if you like cream products like I do I would Definetly try this one out. The second thing I picked up was the new Collection Cover & Go. This is a foundation and concealer duo, the tube is full of the foundation and the cap comes off to reveal a pan of concealer and mirror. Firstly I thought the packaging of the product was a great idea two products in one bottle more room in the makeup bag. The concealer is a great match to my skin, it is of a thick cream consistency so I imagine if it was applied heavily it would look extremely cakey, but a light amount would give great coverage to imperfections. The foundation is very light almost like a BB cream but does give a lovely glow to the skin and would be perfect in the summer. A handbag essential for £5.99 if you like light foundation this is the product for you.

Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara Review

Hello beauties, I have here for you a review for the new Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara! I had to get a new mascara as my sacred Maybelline Falsies Flared had ran out, as I went to pick up a new one, I spotted this & couldn't resist picking this up instead. At first I was slightly sceptical as I'm not usually a fan of the short bristled wands, this mascara has new wand they have patented. I'm glad I went with my impulses as I Love this mascara. It's gives great volume and length, it is clump free (bonus) and you don't have to put 600 coats on to give the right effect. The colour is blackest of blacks, and it comes off like a dream. Once again I crown Maybelline the don of all mascara producers! I picked mine up from Superdrug at the inductory price of £5.99 (bargain). http://www.superdrug.com/eyes/maybelline-colossal-volum-express-the-rocket-waterproof/invt/567350/

If your looking for a new mascara for great volume I recommend picking this one up! If you have picked one up let me know what you thought :)

Lioele Mini BB Set & Review

I've always craved to try Korean beauty products as their highly spoke of in the beauty blogosphere, so a couple of weeks ago when I was browsing through eBay and came across this Lioele miniature set at a great price of £6.26 I had to try it! The set contains 4 5g samples of the Lioele Fresh Sun Screen, Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base, Lioele Beyond The Solution BB and Lioele Water Drop BB. These are four of their best selling products, so far I only have issues with one of these products.
The Fresh Sun Screen I will probably not have much use for as the factor is too high for my liking. However the product itself has a non sticky consistency it also contains green tea and rosemary extracts to help soothe the skin after a day in the sun.
The Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base really does give an illuminating base for your makeup it could also double up as a highlighter to use on top of your makeup as it gives that pearly dewy glow to your face.
The Beyond the Solution BB cream is all you would expect from a BB cream in that it isn't as heavy as a foundation but also gives great coverage, it also gives a water supply to your face as it is the base ingredient. The colour would only be a match for someone with fair skin as it is a one colour only BB cream.
The Water Drop BB cream was the one that I was disappointed in it felt like applying a watered down foundation to my face, the consistency just felt like it would slide of my skin within an hour. Although it may sound like its what it says on the tin I just expected it would be like a tinted moisturiser but sadly it wasn't.

I would also like to mention how great the eBay seller was not only was the product fairly priced and the shipping was free, they also sent me two free samples and the product arrived in great time. If you are in the UK and would like to try Korean beauty products visit their store http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Sing-Sing-Girls-Shop where they also sell products from brands such as Etude House, TonyMoly, Missha, Skin79 & More. <---- Definetly check this out!

I'm sure I'll be writing again about more Korean products so keep reading,

MUA Haul!

Hey Beauts,
I have another mini MUA haul for you, including swatches. So I took a trip to Superdrug the other day after hearing a lot about their Heaven & Earth palette, I picked one up and a few other shadows. Firstly I love the palette its the perfect alternative to the naked palette with near identical dupes! I also picked up two of their single Eyeshadows 1 Is a gorgeous and highly pigmented blood orange colour the other is a lovely copper colour again with great pigment. All the shadows have little fallout and apply excellently. I highly recommend - pick them up at your local Superdrug! Catch you later beauties xxx
